Renal impairment

The effects of renal insufficiency on clonazepam have not been studied.44 Clonazepam is cleared almost exclusively by the liver, however, so it is unlikely that renal insufficiency will alter clonazepam clearance.

Hemodialysis

Clonazepam is poorly soluble in water, is 85% protein bound, and has a large volume of distribution. It is thus unlikely that hemodialysis will have much effect on clonazepam plasma concentration.
