Application filed for epilepsy drug (The Philadelphia Inquirer)

GlaxoSmithKline P.L.C. and Valeant Pharmaceuticals International of Aliso Viejo, Cal., said today that they filed a new drug application with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and a marketing authorization application with the European Medicines Agency, for retigabine, used as adjunctive therapy to treat adult epilepsy patients with partial-onset seizures.    - Miriam Hill
