Phenobarbital
Clinical pharmacology of PhenobarbitalPhenobarbital is metabolized in the liver and renally excreted. Mysoline is ~45% protein-bound. Phenobarbital is rapidly and nearly completely absorbed following oral and intramuscular administration. Peak serum concentrations are reached in approximately 3 hours. The half-life in adults is 80-100 hours. |
