Children and GabitrilChildren and Gabitril (tiagabine) Dosages in children have not been well established. In one pediatric trial, dosages up to 0.4 mg/kg were used for children with uninduced hepatic function. Dosages up to 0.7 mg/kg were used for children taking enzyme-inducing AEDs. Children usually start with a dose of 0.1 mg/kg per day. This is usually given in 2 or 3 divided doses. Most children do best at about 0.1 to 2 mg/kg per day given in two to four doses. |
